Andy's Review of the Cardio Shop Reflexology Foot Massager
Reflexology is a system of massage used to relieve tension and treat illness, based on the reflex points in the feet that are linked to every part of the body.
Recently I spoke with an English lady who works in China, and she was saying how many of the Chinese regularly have a foot massage because it is so effective in clearing the head and making them feel healthy. She had started having massages herself, and found they really worked.
The Cardio Shop Reflexology Foot Massager combines 5000 years of Chinese medicine, with modern technology. It also works on the acupuncture points in the feet following the Japanese principles in shiatsu therapy.
Most electric massagers enclose your feet, but this one is open both ends. This has the advantage of allowing you to move your feet to the position that is most comfortable for you. Throughout the four pre-set programs you can move your feet to take full advantage of the rolling and kneading action of the massager.
To find out which pre-set program is best for you, it is best to look at the manual. It explains what each setting is good for. They all feel good to me, especially after I have been running. I am fortunate to be fairly healthy at the moment and so I don’t use the massagers to heal any ailments, but I do find them very relaxing and soothing for my feet.
The custom setting works on your toes, your arch or the soles of the feet, but they all feel equally intense. You can play around with the setting to see which ones feel the best for you. If you go to the manual setting it is possible to control both the speed and the direction of the rollers.
This is possibly the most powerful and flexible foot massager on the market. A 30 minute massage will revitalise you and give you a great feeling of well-being.
